11/10/11 Self Evaluation (Genesis Quezada)

This week I give myself a 9 because we talked to our sponsor and came up with some ideas that can draw attention to our project. We also found out that our HISD trustee is Greg Meyers. We are planning to contact him and pitch our idea of better cafeteria food. Hopefully, we can try and make an appointment with him to discuss these ideas, or we will ask students to make letters out to him.

11/04 self evaluation (Genesis Quezada)

I give myself a 9 this week because this week Daisy and I started making posters that could possibly raise awareness in the school. We also came up with some fundraising ideas we could do to raise money for the salad bar we are trying to get for the school.

10/27 Self-Evaluation (Genesis Quezada)

I give myself a 9 this week. This week we worked on the corrections we needed to do for our reserach paper. Also, while Daisy was working on the MLA citations, I was looking in to trying to contact our HISD board member, and possibly get students to write letters on our opinion on school lunches and how we think we can improve it. This way we can all get our opinions out in the open about this matter.

10/21/11 Self Evaluation (Genesis Quezada)

This week, I gave myself a 9. This week we organized our binder. It is much easier to find our information now that our stuff is in the right place. We also cited our sources for our research paper and wrote the bibliography. We talked to our sponsor, Mr. Renner, to help us find a way to raise awareness and raise money for a salad bar.

10/13 Self Evaluation Genesis Quezada.

I give myself a 9 this week. This week Daisy and I completed a draft of our research paper, which helped a lot, because now we feel our research paper will be much easier to do. I also found a very interesting article that says our schools have failed to provide us with water. I hope to investigate more with this, and asking the cafeteria manager myself to see if this is true.

Self-Evaluation 10/7 Genesis Quezada

I give myself a 9 this week. This week we got our thoughts together and constructed a draft of our outline. We then officially made an outline, to have a glimpse of what our research paper will look like. We assigned each other a part of the research paper we will write, so that the work is divided in half, and not left to just one person. We feel confident with our outline and research that we can write a 8-10 research paper.

9/23 & 9/28 self- evaluation reflection (Genesis Quezada)

The week of 9/23 I give myself an 9. I give myself an 8 because I did alot of research on the topic and do the one-pager for our project. I was able to find the certain diseases we might get from cafeteria food, and how much our countries food differ from other countries. With the research I found, I was able to have an idea on how our research paper will go. I was able to put all our informaton together and have a research paper draft.

The week of 9/28 we went to the library. Daisy and I put in all the information we had gathered up from the week and we assigned who was doing what. We split up the work 50/50 and we got to outline the draft we made. Fot the outline, I will be doing the introduction, how our project is local,and information over HISD, cafeteria food, its history and nutrition facts. For that week I give myself an 9.
